What's an FJMC Consultant?
Consultants are facilitators. They can help build stronger clubs and regional organizations. Trained at the annual FJMC Geffen Leadership Development Institute, consultants have been selected for their ability to communicate and implement ideas and programs. Training and experience has produced valuable FJMC Consultants who have the ability to help you find solutions to problems that may seem overwhelming at first. Regional officers can call on this resource base - both within their regions and throughout the FJMC - to help support and sustain their clubs and communities.
Why contact a Consultant? Because they can bring new ideas and perspectives to your club's situation. Call it a breath of fresh air, or Jewish oxygen to help the heart beat faster. After a Consultant visit, the rest of FJMC's resources can also be brought into play. Remember that you are part of a group of 30,000 Jewish men and leaders all across the country. Chances are, somebody, somewhere can help you out. And in return, you may find that your club can help others out as well. That's brotherhood in action.
The basic training that all Consultants receive is similar; the areas in which they specialize are unique.
Leadership Consultants are the FJMC's point men. They serve as ''troubleshooters'', helping regions and clubs to develop their own solutions and strategies for growth.
Keruv Consultants are experts in the implementation of the FJMC Keruv initiative, a ground breaking approach to intermarried families, as defined by the FJMC Publications, HEARING MEN'S VOICES - Volumes IV & V, "Building the Faith" & "Let's Talk About It".
To arrange for a Club Consultant visit to your own club, you can contact the Region President and/or your club liaison for details.
