This year we invited, Amit Shuker, a representative from the American Friends of Unit 669 to address the congregation during the service.  Unit 669 is an IDF Sprecial Forces unit that conducts search and rescue missions.  They are fundraising for safety kits for Israelis and also seeking to enhance equipment for the unit as they had to call up reservists.  Here is a link to information about Unit 669: AFU 669
