Doug is a graduate of Brandeis, has an M.A from NYU, and holds an M.B.A from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
He was appointed Museum Director of the International Hall of Fame. He has worked at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass and the United States Golf Association Museum in Far Hills, New Jersey, where he was part of capital projects that reconceptualized and rebuilt two sport museums.
Among the books he has written include: The SPHAS, The Life and Times of Basketball's Greatest Jewish Team, When Basketball was Jewish; and The James Naismith Reader: Basketball in his own Words.
