A Conversation & L'Chaim with Natan Sharansky & Gil Troy
Sunday, December 13, 2020, 03:00pm

There has been no more transformative leader than Natan Sharansky. His new book, Never Alone: Prison, Politics and My People, is his story, which has touched so many of us. This is a very special occasion to spend time with a true hero of our age.

In 1977, Natan Sharansky, a leading activist in the democratic dissident movement in the Soviet Union and the movement for free Jewish emigration, was arrested by the KGB. He spent nine years as a political prisoner, convicted of treason against the state. His story is suffused with reflections from his time as a political prisoner, from his seat at the table as history unfolded in Israel and the Middle East, and from his passionate efforts to unite the Jewish people.

We will also enjoy a virtual wine tasting of Gush Etzion Spring Red Blend. Click Here to order the bottle of wine. Use coupon code FJMC.

A classic account of courage, integrity, and most of all, belonging.

The FJMC and The Israel Innovation Fund are collaborating a very exciting project to support the wine industry in Israel. And deepen our connections to Israel WOTV is the headline project of The Israel Innovation Fund, a nonprofit foundation whose mission it is to bring the very best of contemporary Israeli culture to the rest of the globe and to accelerate the modernization of Jewish philanthropic world.

WOTV is an exciting new initiative meant to serve those who love the land and people of Israel in three different ways:

·         Give those elsewhere a way to literally root themselves in the soil of Israel.

·         Raise money for causes that serve the needs of the people of Israel.

·         Support a 3,500-year Jewish cultural practice that connects with people all around the world, especially young people.

With the simple click of a button a grapevine goes into the soil, resources are directed to where they are needed, and at the end of all of this wine flows from these hills and valleys to every corner of the globe.  The FJMC is delighted to be a partner in this effort and Men’s Club benefit from this special relationship.

We look forward to seeing you on December 13!
