Regional Board Meeting
Monday, May 04, 2020, 07:30pm

Chevre,

I hope that this email finds you, your loved ones and members of your club healthy and well during these trying times.

In accordance with the Constitution of the Northern New Jersey Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs, and is our customary practice, the third and last of the meetings of the full Board of Directors of the Region will be held one week from this evening, on Monday, May 4th. While all meetings of the full Board are important, the Spring meeting is especially so as we will be presented with the proposed slate of regional officers and trustees by the Nominating Committee to be acted upon at this meeting. In addition, given the extraordinary conditions we find ourselves in during these challenging times, we will be discussing various contingencies regarding events typically held during the next several months, including the annual Presidents’ Dinner and next year’s Man of the Year/Youth of the Year Dinners, among other topics.

As you may recall from prior communications, each club is entitled to and encouraged to send up to four representatives to the Board of Directors meeting. Given that the distance you will have to travel to attend the meeting has been reduced by epic proportions, I sincerely hope that you and other members of your club’s board will attend and participate in the meeting. Please don’t let that conflict with your virtual yoga session stop you from attending.

I will send a more formal notice via email with the Zoom information and Agenda later this week. Please also expect to receive the Minutes from the last full Board meeting from Secretary Larry Klioze and the latest financials from Treasurer Len Whitman. Please let me know if there is an item you would like included on the Agenda no later than Thursday.

Until we meet, please stay safe and healthy.

B’shalom,
Elliott
